Morning tea is served!
You can never have too many choc chip biscuit recipes, am I right? All ages love a cookie and this recipe feels a little healthy as it contains oats - so you can have one more without the guilt!
Ingredients:
125g margarine
1/2 cup caster sugar
1/2 cup raw or brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
2 Tablespoons olive oil (or 1 egg)
1.5 cups oats
1 cup plain flour
1/2 teaspoon bicarb soda
3/4 cup of dark choc chips

Add more choc chips if you love them as much as I do! (It does make the biscuits more sweet, so if you add more choc chips, then reduce the sugar measurements by a little)
How To Make It:
Preheat oven to 160 degrees, fan forced.
Line 2 oven trays with baking paper.
In a large bowl, combine the margarine, sugars and vanilla essence. Mix in the olive oil.
Add oats, flour and bicarb soda. Stir to combine.
Add the choc chips and stir through.
Scoop out 1 tablespoon of mixture and form into a ball and place on the tray. Flatten a little. Arrange balls with 5cm in between each one, so the cookies can spread.
Bake for 15 minutes and allow to cool and firm on tray.
Enjoy!

Roll into balls and allow room between each ball, for the mixture to spread
