The weekend calls for a fun, hearty and warming breakfast that will keep your tummy and heart happy, even if it means sinning a little. These chocolate croissant recipes are just that and they are super easy to make. Instead of opting for slaving in the kitchen and making a dough, I have chosen to make them with store brought pastry puff sheets.
Let' get started: You will need one packet of ready rolled butter puff pastry. You can also choose light puff pasty like I have - it tastes equally divine.
100 gram dark or milk chocolate.
I egg white beaten.
Preheat the oven to 218 degree celsius with a lined baking tray . Roll out the pastry sheet and cut about six to eight squares.
Take a square and cut it into two triangles.

Puff Pastry Cut into Triangles
Place 2-3 pieces of chocolate on the side facing you. Roll gently the side facing you, wrap and close it from the other side.

Chocolate filling
You will get somewhat straight croissant. Press into a crescent shape by simply pushing it gently.
With a kitchen brush or your fingers swipe some beaten egg white on top.

All set to go in
Pop it on the tray and bake it for 25-30 minutes. You will have around 12-14 mini croissants.

Smells like chocolate and love
Your homely but quick chocolate croissants is now ready.
