The Marion Cultural Centre in Adelaide houses the Domain Theatre, which is the City's premier performing arts space as well as the Cultural Centre Library, Gallery M, Next Chapter Gourmet Café and meeting spaces and rooms, which can be hired for functions and events.

On Monday12th April 2021 from 11.00 am to Noon, a musical presentation by Splash Theatre Company & Me 'N Me Mates will be held from true-blue Aussie Songs and Stories. Songs include old time favourites like "Redback on the Toilet Seat", "Home Among The Gumtrees", "Wallaby Stew" and many more that you can sing along to or tap your feet.



The Splash Theatre Company is an independent touring company established in 1997 in South Australia touring to arts centres, festivals, hotels, schools, community events in Australia and overseas. Their performances are family-friendly and suitable for all age groups.



Me 'N Me Mates are a trio of mates, who are based in South Australia although they play anywhere and are happy to travel to festivals, halls, hotels, clubs, outdoor events, libraries and more. Their aim is to showcase Australian unique and historical songs, language and stories, which keep alive the traditions of our settlers and families on the land. Me 'N Me Mates have released several CD's, some of which are available on iTunes and Spotify.

This event is for all ages, however, if children are attending, they must be accompanied - strictly by one parent per child.

Please note Marion Libraries are following strict COVID-19 safe rules and it is vital that all visitors abide by these conditions of entry. If you are feeling unwell or have cold or flu-like symptoms you are to stay at home. Please maintain the one-point-five metres distance from others and wash hands regularly or use the sanitiser provided upon entry and exiting the premises. Remember to cover your mouth with you sneeze and cough.

The event is FREE, however, you must book through Eventbrite to attend. Tickets are going very fast and once gone, there will be no more available. Get in early to avoid disappointment. Address for Marion Cultural Centre is 287 Diagonal Road, Oaklands Park .
