Step right up for the annual Holy Cross School Festival - everyone is welcome, with free entry!

There will be fun for all with rides, live music, market stalls, arts & craft, and much more. The Holy Cross School is well known for putting on an exceptional party, and YOU are invited to what is sure to be a great way to kick back on a Sunday afternoon.

Food

There will be plenty on offer: hamburgers, sausages, hot chips, high tea (scones, ribbon sandwiches, salads, soups and jams), fairy floss, snow cones, strawberries and cream, and homemade lemonade, cakes, slices and sweets.

Music and performances

There will be lots to watch and listen to. The Holy Cross School concert band, junior choir and senior choir will all be performing. Each class will also be presenting the Holy Cross Dance Cart performance. St James College will be represented with a Pacific Islander revue, and Mt Alvernia School's performance group will also be participating.

And just to cap off a lovely Sunday afternoon of music, local band Hot As will be playing some great jazz from 2pm to 5pm.

The fete will also have a licensed bar, serving beer, wine, champagne, soft drinks and water throughout the day.

Raffle and Auction

People will have the chance to win some fantastic prizes, with $4,500 worth of prizes including a family holiday, iPad, vouchers, a Samsung Galaxy phone, Visa card, piano keyboard and much more all needing to be won!

There will also be a meat raffle, and a cent auction with prizes including children's bikes, a Weber barbecue, a Garmin watch, and lots more.

Market stalls

Plenty of things to buy will abound, with hidden treasures (quality second-hand goods), a book stall, craft stall, and cake and sweet stalls.

Rides

What kind of a fete would it be without rides? Kids will be able to choose from the Bungee Trampoline, Super Slide, Storm Ride, Mini Rocking Tub, and the Safari Bouncer. There'll also be a special section for children under eight, with fun options like Lob-A-Choc, Tombola, Wine Wheel, Ping Pong Pyramid, clowns, crazy hair, and face painting.

Festival multi ride passes are now available for pre-purchase at www.flexischools.com.au

Other attractions

Make sure that you keep an eye out for the Stilt Walker, Beppo the Clown, kid's and adult's yoga classes, manicure stalls, animal farm and the F45 fitness stall.

There will be plenty of parking in surrounding streets. If you live close by it might be easiest just to walk there. Entrances are from either Morris Street or Merehaye Street.

If you're coming from a bit further away, it's about a five-minute walk from Wooloowin train station to the school. Plan your journey with Translink here .

Join in from 10.30 am at Morris Street Wooloowin and let the fun begin!
