Holroyd Council's CityFest is great for the young and the young at heart. Merrylands Road's CBD is home to this annual street fair and parade which is always a hit for the family. Stalls line both sides of the streets providing all your standard Street Fair goodies including showbags, fairy floss and good old flavoured snow cones. There are even rides at one end of the street to really cement CityFest as one of the best days on the calendar for the kids!
Spectators enjoy themselves at last year's Holroyd CityFest.
Stages are set up to show off the community's talented kids and performers including dancers and singers performing and entertaining crowds throughout the day.
If you're not much of a spectator you can always do some quality shopping. In the market for some new sunglasses? Handbag? Jewellery or clothes? All of this and more can be found right here at CityFest.
All of this still not really your thing? That's okay, there's something for everyone at CityFest. Dads aren't forgotten, with NRL stalls offering merchandise and memberships, as well as a football passing challenge and gorgeous utes to lust after during the street parade.
