This all Australian-made exhibit is set to take the world by storm, but you can experience it here first, in Brisbane these school holidays. From the 10th December, your family can experience the amazing Holographic Zoo and Aquarium at Cannon Hill Shopping Plaza, where you can walk with life-sized elephants and even bigger giraffes. And how many zoos can boast dinosaurs or a 25m whale on display?



Originally set to run for just 3 weeks, the Holographic Zoo and Aquarium has been so popular, the season has been extended until the end of January. Bookings are essential and can be made for sessions which generally last for 1.5 hours and up to 3 hours. Tickets are from $29 but there is currently,a special, where you pay for 3 people and get up to another 3 people in for free. Children under 4 years of age and companion card holders are also free.



Perfect for all ages from little ones to teenagers and adults, the exhibits are sometimes educational and always fun, with others boasting a full immersive experience involving scents and wind. The holographic images feel so real, it looks as though you can reach out and touch them.



Visitors can choose from the following exhibits:
- Jurassic Walk
- Arctic Walk
- Australia Walk
- Dinosaurs Experience
- Aquarium Experience
- Escape Room Experience
- Holo-sports Experience

Plus all visitors can experience the Hologram Gallery, visit Koi fish ponds and giant animals. There is also a scratchy holographic arcade where prizes can be won.



The Holographic zoo and Aquarium is easy to find in Cannon Hill Shopping Centre. It's on the Wynnum road side of the Plaza, near Woolworths and behind Autobarn. Look out for the large 'Holographic Zoo' signs outside.Snacks and merchandise are available onsite for purchase.
