I am always looking out for new experiences, wherever I may find myself.

Holman Park is a good alternative to Willow Park, further up the Sherbrook Road, which gets incredibly busy. It can be fund near Neal Park/Edgeworth David Garden and consists of a small square on the corner of Sherbrook Road and Northcote Road.
A playground takes up pretty much the whole space at Holman Park, so it's the main reason you would visit (there's no barbecues or anything else). The equipment is pretty varied though and includes swings, a slide and other basics, though none of it is too exciting or unusual.
Also at the park is a bike path, which loops around the play equipment and then continues around the little bit of grassy space there is here. Scattered around the path are a few seats, while a covered table can be found next to the equipment.
Holman Park is in quite a busy area, but parent will be reassured to hear it's surrounded by a fence and those child-proof gates many parks have now.
