The 2019 Holland Festival is back, bigger, better and more, at Akoonah Park, 2 Cardinia Rd, Berwick on Saturday 16 March 2019 from 10am to 8pm. That's a whole 10 hours of family fun at this cultural event that's also a fundraiser where 100% of profits go towards supporting charities and worthy community groups supported by the Rotary Club of Casey. It's a great day out for those with Dutch origins or an interest in Dutch culture. It's simply a great day out with food, entertainment and Dutch cultural experiences at your doorstep, so come along and step into another world.
Save yourself queuing for tickets at the gate by buying it online. Tickets are $20 Adults, $15 Seniors, FREE for children 12 years and under, $2 for students and children 13 years and over, $10 for groups of 30 or more people and $5 for a Kermis/Carnival Wristband at the Information Booth. As you can see, the program is full-on from 10.30am till end of festival, featuring a lot of music events like bands, and orchestras. The Frankston City Brass Band belts out the welcome ceremony and national anthems at 12.30pm with the Australian Anthem by Lucinda Da Silva and the Dutch National Anthem sung by Zing. For the jazz lovers, the Dandenong Ranges Hot Jazz Orchestra is sure to delight. Find your musical entertainment on the Main Stage and the SBS Stage and Rotunda.
Carnivale Alley and Calver Street are filled with wonderful Dutch food, espresso coffee, slushies and novelty items for the kids. There's plenty to keep them entertained with face painting, sand painting for 3-13 years of age, sensory fun toys and more. Enjoy tulip bulbs for charity, fairy floss, popcorn, snowcones, pofferjies, stroopwafels, ice cream with a touch of Dutch and more on Calver street.

Spread the word, bring family and friends, bring a picnic rug and/or chairs to set up on the lawn for an enjoyable day. Why not mark the occasion with a Dutch costume photo booth pic. Fluffy alpacas have nothing to do with the Netherlands but they'll be located next to the photo booth, so it should be an easy find.
