Children can join the Creative Critters holiday workshop series and have fun designing and sculpting their own spring-inspired sculpture!
Duldig Studio in East Malvern is the former home and studio of sculptor Karl Duldig and his wife, artist and inventor Slawa Horowitz-Duldig. Karl Duldig sculpted many strange and wonderful creatures throughout his life and many of them can be spotted throughout the sculpture garden and studio.
With spring having just arrived, the artists at Duldig Studio have also started noticing all sorts of animal and bug life returning to the sculpture garden after a very long and cold winter! Have you noticed any exciting changes in your garden?
Children are encouraged to let their imagination take over during this clay workshop and create their own fantastic creatures and critters to decorate their homes or gardens.
Choose from two sessions: Wednesday, 21 September: 1:30 pm - 4 pm or Thursday, 29 September: 10:30 am - 12 pm.
Places are strictly limited and early bookings are advised: secure your child's place now at www.eventbrite.com.au
Each sculpture will be fired as part of the workshop costs and parents of participants will be notified via email or phone when their child's sculpture is ready for pickup.
