Food and words.

The name Holiday says it all really. Stepping into the store off Commercial Street East, you're instantly transported to a tropical island, or far off hideaway. The Holiday concept started in Robe, the perfect spot for the store, and the expansion now includes a concept store in Mount Gambier. With everything from fashion, to homewares, to food, Holiday brings a little bit of the beach to Mount Gambier's main street.

There are clothes for young and old, featuring natural tones, and casual styles. Each piece could easily be worn on a trip to the beach, or while lounging poolside with a cocktail in hand. The designs are made with natural fibres, and are inspired by fashions and textiles from all over the globe. You'll also find a range of jewellery and accessories to help you complete your look. For the littlies there is an equally fashionable range of clothes, they'll look absolutely adorable in the range.

Their homewares are the perfect thing to spice up your beach shack, or bring a bit of tranquility to your home. You'll find natural tones with pops of colours like pinks, greens, reds, and blues. They stock anything from vases, to prints, to cushions, to throws and rugs. There is also a good collection of smaller items, that make great gift ideas.

The highlight of Holiday's new store would have to be the cafe, which really encapsulates that summer holiday feel. Not only can you get a tasty scoop of ice cream, but you can also sit at one of their tables and enjoy a muffin, cupcake, or indulgent slice. You can also grab a coffee or cool drink and just sit back and relax.

Holiday is a breath of fresh summer air to Mount Gambier's main strip. It is fashionable, fun, and also incredibly casual. You feel free to just browse the shelves, or sit and chat over your coffee. So even if the store doesn't have what you need, it is hard to go past the treats they sell up the back.
