We really liked the fact that the resort is situated right next to the beach. There were plenty of resort activities there, and it was the first time we used kayaks and catamarans! It was a really fun experience.
Formerly known as the New Hebrides, Vanuatu is a group of 83 islands in the South Pacific Ocean and a really special place. This country in the Pacific Ocean was part of the British and French empires in the past, and its inhabitants still speak English and French. But they also speak dozens of other, local languages, the most important one being Bislama. The culture there is amazing, with lots of art, singing and dancing, the food is delicious and the landscapes are breathtaking!
We couldn't have been happier with our trip to Vanuatu. This island is still unspoilt, and the locals are the friendliest people you could meet! I highly recommend this destination for your next holiday, especially if you like adventure in a quiet, relaxing place.
If you decide to visit Vanuatu, make sure to taste the local fruit (much tastier than in Europe!) and don't forget to use extra strong sunscreen. The UVs are really high around there!
