For many parents, School Holidays can bring dread. Many kids these days are choosing to stay within the walls of the home. Some endlessly fiddle with their phones or spend the day on the computer or at the helm of their video games.

But these School Holidays, the Holiday Inn will be hosting a 'Big Breakfast' event at the Customs House Forecourt in Circular Quay for children and parents. It celebrates the fact that children can eat and stay for free at the Holiday Inn.

This is the perfect chance to get the kids away from their gadgets, get them out in the fresh air, and have them socialise with other children: all while enjoying a much needed breakfast with free breakfast packs.

The Forecourt will be transformed into a children's playground on the 23rd of September. Some of the activities will include; Lego Building stations, Face Painting, Colouring-in stations and a egg-and-spoon race track where kids compete for prizes.

You can also pose with a 6 metre tall egg sculpture in a photo (if you share the photo with your social media networks, you will be in the running to win a family holiday at the Holiday Inn Resort in Phuket, Thailand).

If you wish to attend, be sure to confirm it on the Big Breakfast Facebook Page.

It's a great way to keep the children active.
