On 24 March 2013, Bundoora Park will be abuzz with an abundance of fun and fiesta as the Festival of Colours is celebrated by young and old alike. The festival features playing with colours with the underlying principle of colouring yourself, as well as colouring your life. This is a family friendly event aimed at celebrating the beauty of life.

With the objective to spread love, peace and harmony amongst everyone, this festival promises to be brimming with vigour and vibrance. Open to everyone, regardless of culture, race and religion, this festival will bring together people from diverse backgrounds who will sprinkle and splash on each other a wide assortment of colours.

Entry to the event will cost $5 each, and if you rock up before noon, you can score a pack of colour for free. Festival will commence at 11 am and will draw its curtain at 5pm. The festival area has a no alcohol policy and is absolutely family friendly while offering ample free parking.

Bundoora Park is located at 1069 Plenty road, Bundoora. If you are opting for public transport than you can hop on tram number 86 from Melbourne CBD and get off at stop 61. Afterwards, a 2 minute walk from the tram stop will deliver you to the festival location. If you are inclined towards driving, then you will be delighted to know that Bundoora Park is only 30 minutes away from Melbourne CBD by car. Melway Ref: Map 19 F4.
