Following in the footsteps of the brand's successful locations in Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and more, Perth is now home to Holey Moley's newest venture, replacing the old Elephant and Wheelbarrow bar on Lake Street and Northbridge.

Suitable for visitors ranging from small groups to office work functions, Holey Moley has been packed since opening last week and it seems to be going strong until after Christmas. With twenty-seven indoor putt putt holes ranging in theme from "Bushwood" (modern music history) with courses like "Smells Like Tee Spirit" and "Putt Outta Hell", "Tawny Frogmouth" (sports and video games) - "Tetris" and "Friday Night Footee" - and "Flossy Rivers" (film and television) with "Jurassic Par" and the "Iron Throne", Holey Moley is a Mini-Golf Mecca for the pop culture obsessed. Scattered throughout the site are a few more topical courses such as "Oh Christmas Tee" and a Donald Trump themed hole I don't want to spoil, but which features a large donkey statue.

Upon entering we were informed that all props are designed to sat on and photographed and we were warmly welcomed to "Adult Daycare".

Prices for Holey Moley start at roughly $16pp for a nine hole course, or close to $50 for the whole shebang. Group prices including dedicated bar service, food and nine holes of mini golf end up at around $75pp (depending on the size of the booking). Food includes basic tapas style including sliders, popcorn chicken and more and the bar has a variety of specialty cocktails in addition to normal beers, wine and cider.

While Holey Moley is on the expensive side, and the cheaper course won't get you an extended length of time on course, the atmosphere, aesthetic and novelty of an indoor mini-golf that involves beer are awesome for a one off treat around Christmas-time or maybe as a special occasion when that friend from outta town visits. Definitely worth some further investigation on your part anyway!
