About Heathcote Park - the home of the 1/4 Mile Drag Race

Heathcote Park is the place to go to try out 1/4 Mile Off Street Drag Racing, and is now the home of the 1/4 Mile.

If you've recently bought a high performance car you may be tempted to take it out and test it out on the street, especially against other cars. As tempting as this might be, it is also very dangerous to drag race against other cars in the street. There are severe penalties for drag racing on the streets, on public roads, as it endangers others on the road as well as yourself and your mates. Many lives have been lost due to drag racing contests on our city streets.

The solution is to test your car or bike in safe and real race conditions. Racing at the Heathcote drag strip is a great way to safely and legally test out the capabilities of your car, while also improving your driving skills. The Heathcote Park Raceway is a great place to meet up with other people with similar interests. All cars are welcome at the Test and Tune day, from the daily driver to full blown drag cars.
