Hop on the back for the ride of your life
Want to tick a ride on a Harley Davidson off your bucket list and help a good cause at the same time?
You can do just that at Cronulla with a scenic ride down to Mount Keira Lookout, thanks to the Liverpool Harley Owners Group. Departing outside Hogs Breath Cafe, you will travel south past the Royal National Park, over the Sea Cliff Bridge to this Wollongong landmark for further great views and a morning tea.
The Harley owners are providing their time and bikes whilst your ticket price of $130 goes to Assistance Dogs Australia to help train gentle pups, such as Labradors and Golden Retrievers, in aiding those with disabilities. Two years of training these gorgeous dogs to perform daily tasks, such as dropping and picking up items, opening and closing doors, alert barking and even unloading a washing machine, comes in at over $27,000 per animal. They need your help to continue this good work and something that is so beneficial in giving independence and freedom to the impaired is well worth our support.
Travelling about an hour each way, the return trip takes you back to the beach at Cronulla for a hearty BBQ lunch in the park, provided by Hogs Breath Cafe. The price is all inclusive with helmets provided by the drivers. You also get a limited edition bandana to keep as a memento of the experience.
If it's not on your bucket list then perhaps it might make the perfect gift for someone special in your life. You can also donate online or purchase gifts from the shop and even sponsor a puppy.
