Hog's Breath is one of Australia's most successful restaurant franchises to date. Starting up in Queensland in 1989, they now have over 70 outlets right the way across Australia. They have affiliated with extreme sports events such as drag racing and super-cars, as well as surf and sail companies, making their brand recognisable and reputable across the continent.
Their Northbridge outlet is a great place to throw a party or stop off for a meal over the weekend. It follows the franchise's quirky, saloon bar style, and always has a friendly, party atmosphere. It's in a great location for public transport, just one minute walk from the train station, so you don't have to worry about driving if you're out for a good night.
They have a varied menu of salads, seafood, burgers, pastas, grills, ribs and their infamous steaks. The prices are middle of the road, perhaps a little on the pricey side for food, but okay if it's a treat. The service is excellent, with a very good team of staff who look to be enjoying their work.
They are fully licensed with a wide range of drinks available and occasional promotions. Ring ahead for a party booking to avoid disappointment, as this place gets very busy, especially at weekends.
