I'm a part time actor and part time writer living in Perth. I love being on stage. I love going out with friends, doesn't matter what we do

Good Food, Good Times
Big family dinners are a rare thing when part of the family lives way up north, so when they do come down to Perth, family dinners are always eaten at a different restaurant. For this one, we chose to go to Hog's Breath in Midland. The advantage of restaurants such as these is that they can cater for a small intimate meal, or for a large group of 13 (which was us).
Fruit Mocktail (Can't remember name)
I have dined at Hog's Breath venues before, but this was the first time with such a large group, and the first time with a baby in tow. We were greeted at the front desk by a staff member with a large smile and very happy air about them, always a nice sign when arriving at a venue to dine. While there had been a slight confusion with the amount of people dining, this was quickly corrected and we were shown to our table to wait for our other dinner guest to join us.
Child's Side Salad
Once everyone was there, we were quickly attended to by our waiter for our drinks orders, as well as the food order for the children on the table. Shortly after our drinks arrived and we placed our food order, the child's meal arrived not long after that.
Barra & Prawns
Now when you have so many people dining at your table, and a few other tables in the restaurant with and average of 4 people each dining, you would expect to have to wait for a little bit for your food to arrive. However on this night it was just that little bit too long, with most of us getting to the 'where's my food, I'm really hungry' stage at least 5-10 minutes before our food was delivered.
Saying that, everyone was very happy with their main meal, with some of them being too large to finish. Even out young bub enjoyed the mashed potato that his dad couldn't finish. The ordered dishes included Boss Hog Ribs, Barra & Prawns (with mash), Kids Steak (served with a side salad) and a Grilled Steak Sandwich to name a few, so there was a good range of items that we tried.
Apple Crumble Sundae
Then it was time for dessert, which included the Mississippi Mud Cake, Fresh Strawberry & Chocolate Fondue, an Apple Crumble Sundae and a Rocky Road Sundae, the table was soon quiet again, except for the words and sounds of satisfaction from around the table.
