is a fantastic stop for families travelling between Toowoomba or Warwick, or as a weekend destination in its own right.



This park has several attractions for kids, including a young children's playground, a more challenging playground with large slides and a climbing wall, and paved paths that can be used with bikes or scooters.



Beneath the playground, there is a large, well-maintained grassy playing field, and trees dotted around the area provide shade.



A number of picnic tables are provided, including some with a gas BBQ under a shelter between the playgrounds and the amenities which were spotless when I visited.



For those interested in local history, the park has some heritage on display. This includes a wishing well (now filled in for safety), and a sign with history of the schools in the Cambooya shire from 1875 - 2007.



The cleanliness and thoughtful design of this park make it a pleasure for families passing through the area, or those looking for a pleasant day outdoors.
