Cars are just a mode of transportation for me. But if you're into cars, whether you enjoy the likes of drag racing, have a vintage car at home, or simply like to do up your beloved vehicle, it can get quite expensive. I'm not offering you a cheaper solution, but something free and fabulous to feast your eyes on.
At Car Club Showcase you get to see your favourite cars up close and personal, meet and greet the proud owners, and even snap some photos of these rare cars. Just head to Flinders Street on the last Sunday of every month for the splendid sight of classic, vintage and modern sports cars. Car enthusiasts will definitely appreciate these cars that have been lovingly restored and cared for.

Crochet Like Mad
Share your love of crochet, or learn how to crochet by being part of the 5000 Poppies project at Crochet at Fed Square. I'm always quite amazed at the amazing things that a little crochet hook can make and all you need is a hook and some yarn. Led by a group of fantastic volunteers, this project aims to create a field of 5000 poppies for display on ANZAC Day 2015 to honour the 100th anniversary of the Gallipoli landing. Pack your 3.5mm hook and red yarn, bring your friends and join in this wonderful community project. You'll be hooked, marked my words.
Where: The Atrium
When: Second Monday of each month, 12pm - 2pm

There's something fabulous for the youngsters at Fed Square's car park roof hosted by the Little Veggie Patch Co. At Scarecrow Making, be prepared to get your hands dirty while making your very own scarecrow to take home. Just sift through your wardrobe or cupboard and find some old clothes that you no longer wear and bring them along with a flippy floppy hat. It's a great way to get rid of your old clothes! And kids will have a ball!
Be part of this hands-on and interactive workshop where you will learn about growing your own produce presented by the experts from Little Veggie Patch Co. Edible Gardening for Beginners will teach you about the water basics, share soil and plant nutrition secrets, and explain the best time to plant. If you don't have much room in your garden, don't worry. Because the garden specialists will show you how you can make the most of a small space. Expect to get your hands dirty as you'll be planting your own patch. You'll never know, you might discover that you have a green thumb after all!
Singing workshops provide a great opportunity to give your vocal skills a good test. Breathe, hum and sing as you warm up, and explore and experiment with your voice with a bit of creative play. Whether you like to sing with a hairbrush, in the shower, or in a choir, you're welcome to join in. Trust me, it's therapeutic, fun, and refreshing.
