Passionate and knowledgeable City of Adelaide volunteers guide visitors on a fascinating hour-long tour of the building. During the tour, you'll learn about the building's architecture, its history, the giant and world-famous organ and Colonel William Light. Colonel Light was a British military officer and he was the first Surveyor-General of the Colony of South Australia.

These Adelaide Town Hall Tours are completely free. They are a part of the South Australian History Festival and start Monday 3rd May. Further tours are available on the 10th, 17th and 24th of May.
