In Kilcoy, a smallish country town inland from Caboolture you will find a lot of cultural interest.

Situated in Yowie Park, you will find the beautiful historic courthouse that is now a delightful art gallery. It opened in August 2012 and gives all the talented local artists a venue to display their artwork.

The main exhibition changes every three months and individual members of the Kilcoy Art society are represented monthly on the wall behind the judges bench in a seperate "Artist of the Month" exhibition.

Next to it, also in a historic building is the Hall of History. Sadly this was not open when I was visited, but I sure its full of lots of interesting local historical items.

Also joining them in yet another historical building is the Craft market. Kilcoy sure is full of many very talented people.

In the midst of these historic buildings is a very modern coffee van. "Coffee on the Run". Nearby there was undercover seating amoung the trees with lovely views out onto the lake.
