Cycle out and about
Looking for something as a last moment action activity yet within Sydney metro boundary? Something to combine leisure and exercise for couple of hours? Something to do that you can take all your family or a group of mates? And I believe you do want something that will not bite your pocket.
What you could do is get to Sydney Olympic park and spend a few hours cycling there. Do not have a bike of your own? Not a problem as you can hire one at Sydney Olympic Park bicycle hire.
If you get to Olympic park by car, you can park right in front of the hire shop if you intend to hire from shop location at Blaxland River Side Park, which is in front of Newington Armory. From here you can start the 11 kilometre River Heritage Circuit. Once you reach Olympic Boulevard, you can switch to the 8 kilometre Olympic Circuit or embark on the 6 kilometre Parklands Circuit from Bicentennial Park.
You can hire hybrid or tandem bikes, children's bike or child carrier seven days a week. Prices for one hour start from $15 including helmet and a map. The staff are very friendly and will help you to choose the best bike according to your riding ability and preference.
