Hippo! Hippo! Is a brand new show based on the successful children's book, There's a Hippopotamus on Our Roof Eating Cake, written by Hazel Edwards.
A musical theatre adventure, Hippo! Hippo! focuses on the relationship between a young girl and her enormous imaginary hippo friend. Hippo can do anything he wants, whenever he wants. But is that always such a good thing?
Hippo! Hippo! combines good storytelling with music, song and dance to create a feel good show especially for children. It will have them laughing and crying as the little girl uses hippo and his escapades to overcome some of her fears and gain confidence.
