A mum of three, engineer, scientist, educator, and all around dabbler, I'm far better at finding interesting things to do than I am at doing housework.
Pop your preschoolers along for easter fun
Everyone knows that it's sometimes difficult to keep the kids entertained during the school holidays. This Easter, the fabulous Faery Emma from Stardust Fairies has something new to keep the little ones happy.
The Hippity Hop Pop Easter show is a 90 minute event filled with fun for 2 to 7 year olds. First of all, there's a 60 minute long interactive show, telling the tale of two fairy trainee easter bunnies. The bunnies love to dance and hip hop as they deliver eggs, and as the show is interactive, your little ones will have the opportunity to join in the fun!
Then, after the show, there will be a 30 minute long easter themed crafting session. No hints as yet to what the little bunnies will be making, but one thing can be guaranteed - they'll have fun and you won't end up with a glue and glitter coated house!
Faery Emma's shows are interactive, and fabulous for youngsters who are too young or too wriggly to sit still to watch a traditional stage show. Expect to sing, dance, jump, run around and maybe even hide.
This show is on for one day only, and bookings are essential. Tickets are $20 per child over the age of 2. And if you've got a whole group of bunnies who'd like to attend, there's a group discount for groups of 4 ( 4 children for $64). Even better, grown ups and younger toddlers are free, so mum or dad can come along and watch the fun without any twinges from the hip pocket nerve.
