Four awesome locations in one day! Image: Creative Tours and Events > Hinterland Wine Tasting Tour FB
What is better than having
one adventurous destination to visit? Having
four adventurous destinations to visit … and all on the same day!
Creative Tours and Events have very adroitly managed to combine
four awesome locations into
one fantastic Hinterland escape, ensuring day trippers a memorable day of note!

Flame Hill Vineyard, positioned at the highest point in Montville
First stop of the
Hinterland Wine Tasting Tour is at
Flame Hill Vineyard - my favourite winery on the Sunshine Coast - positioned at the highest point in Montville, on the Blackall Range.
Flame Hill produces estate-grown wines, hand-harvested and sourced from plantings that are up to eighty years old. Flame Hill Vineyard can add to their repertoire of excellence, a variety of their very own farm products; an award-winning on-site restaurant; luxurious cottage accommodation as well as specific signature events i.e. the ever-popular annual
STOMP grape harvest festival.

Spectacular views of the Flame Hill Vineyard Estate
Hinterland Wine Tasting Tour day trippers will get to enjoy a private wine tasting, enhanced with spectacular views of the
Flame Hill Vineyard Estate.
Maleny's rolling green hills has been home to dairy farming for more than one hundred and fifteen years and
Maleny Cheese has been operating its boutique cheese and yoghurt factory in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland of Maleny since 2004.
Maleny Cheese's handmade range of cow and buffalo milk cheese is of exceptional quality, whilst the yoghurt range boasts an award-winning Greek-Gourmet-style yoghurt.

Day-trippers will have the opportunity to sample
local cheese made exclusively from local milk suppliers and perhaps take some fabulous produce home for the up-coming festive season.
Travelling along the top of the range, heading to the picturesque town of Maleny, guests on the
Hinterland Wine Tasting Tour will be totally awe-struck by the absolute breath-taking beauty of the surrounding countryside. May I just add here, that when one is driving a car in this area, frequently the scenery is 'overlooked' (no pun intended), due to concentration levels required to negotiate the narrow, winding roads. Another
big plus to visiting the ranges on an organised day tripping tour.

Onwards and upwards to visit the
Brouhaha Brewery and Restaurant in Maleny. This fabulous venue successfully adopts the principles of its hometown,
Maleny, in embracing the community, adopting a slower pace and utilising fresh local produce in how they brew their craft beer and create their seasonal restaurant menu.
Brouhaha Brewery's core range of beers have been carefully crafted and designed to tempt amber lovers to commence a journey with craft brewing and to entice visitors to drink better beer.

Day trippers will have a choice of a tasting paddle of beer or a glass of wine and a delicious two-course lunch served in the beautiful Brouhaha Restaurant.
The final stop of the
Hinterland Wine Tasting Tour is at the recently refurbished
The Barrel at Clouds Vineyard on the Landsborough-Maleny Road in the Hinterland. The iconic Barrel is a hard-to-miss destination, shaped like a giant wine barrel on the grounds of Clouds Vineyard Maleny. The Barrel showcases wines from South East Queensland, Craft Beers and local produce. As a fitting finale for a terrific day out adventuring, guests are in for another round of sensational wine tasting, before commencing back down the range to the coast.
