I like to participate in life rather than be a spectator. Music, dancing, theatre, travelling, food, cycling and walking are some of my passions. Writing is an enjoyable pastime that allows me to share my experiences.

The meals are prepared to order and the "medium" was perfect for us and still had a good level of heat and spice. Many of the dishes are suitable for vegetarians and some are good for vegans and those on gluten-free diets.

The
menu is full of tasty treats and the servings are generous and well priced. The traditional Nepali Dal Bhat was a delicious dish of rice with assorted meats, lentils, achar, yoghurt and dessert presented on a divided plate and great value at $22.95.

The restaurant is comfortable and casual and all of the staff are friendly and hospitable. You can sit inside or out in the garden and a takeaway and home delivery service are available.
When in Wellington come to Paraparaumu for a taste of authentic Himalayan cuisine.
