The location of the hotel is New York on 8th Avenue. It is just a short walk to famous Times Square (7 Avenue and Broadway). This boasts an extremely convenient location for both business and leisure travellers. Five subway lines are within a block and Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Port Authority Bus Terminal, and Bryant Park are all within walking distance. While an 8th Avenue is often congested by traffic, it means that the location is a busy street.



We stayed at the for 8 days. From the location, the hotel is very good for a city trip. In just a few minutes walk you have the Broadway with all shows, Times Square and countless restaurants, pubs and cafes. The hotel is located on a busy street and a subway passes under the hotel, but that did not bother us at all; we were always so tired in the evening that we did not hear traffic noise.

A common complaint with New York hotel rooms is that they feel tight, but this is not the case at Garden Inn hotel. Even normal rooms are spacious and modernly furnished with white bedding, attractive sepia-toned urban landscape framed photos on the walls and small (but modern) bathrooms. Also, all rooms contain mini-fridges, microwaves, coffeemakers, large desks, large flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi, which can be used to connect the laptop in the business centre for free printing.



Our room was great, we were amazed at our room size as it was generous for New York standards. We had a queen size bed which was absolutely adequate for us and most of all, it was very comfortable. Furniture was also suitable and our TV was large (flat screen). Our room also had an internet network, air conditioning, coffee machine and microwave, as well as a safe for free use. There was no mini bar, just a small fridge where you could cool all purchased drinks. There was also an ice cream machine in the hallway.

On-site French bistro is a real gem, attracting guests and non-guests alike, both with its cosy atmosphere, bar with leather stools, and a large dining room decorated with prints of Parisian posters. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Another great advantage is a chic rooftop lounge with views of Times Square.



The Garden Inn Hotel Times Square gave us a great value for money.



The hotel's staff were always very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were always attractive and we were absolutely satisfied with a room service.
