Can I entice you to escape to a hidden live art festival on the weekend of 17 and 18 November 2018 at Birdsland Reserve, 271 Mt Morton Rd, Belgrave South? It's a jam-packed festival brimming with bold artists exploring risky ideas. Come early and stay late to participate, explore, witness and play with all aspects of the festival. HillsceneLIVE 2018: The Hidden Live Art Festival will take you to forest edge and amaze you with enthralling works over 2 days. There's a buffet of workshops, dialogues, live music, ART, a dance party and the Hillscene Live Feast to look forward to, so get your tickets and don't miss out! Get a whole festival adventure for 1 at $60 or a carload (max 4) at $200. If you're after just the one day, it's $50 for 1 and $160 for a carload of 4 maximum.

Doors open at 11am on the Saturday with a Welcome to Country and welcome address at the bar. A range of durational performances and intimate one-on-one or small audience experience and live music to chill to will run from 11am to 7pm. Sunday hours are from 11am to 5pm, so be sure to run to the info desk to sign up before you miss out on the various workshops, conversations, and more.

Everyone will experience large-scale events together at the night time programming which starts at 7pm on Saturday. Experience The Contingent at 7pm, Purerehua at 8.30pm and dance party at 9pm, so join The Last Dodo for a booty shaking dance journey through time till you can't feel your feet.


On Sunday the doors will be thrown open to the local community from 5pm to enjoy free short performances from local and interstate artists including music, dance and circus. Experience Birdsland, like never before. Bring your own picnic, grab a patch of lawn and enjoy a free assortment of performances as part of the hillsceneLIVE festival. Food and Bar open until 8pm.
