Don't miss this event for the whole family
Hills Carnivale is a fiesta of fun, food and family entertainment.

Hills Carnivale brings to a close four weeks of amazing events as part of the Hills Festival. The annual Hills Carnivale will be on 26th May, 2018 at The George Willmore Park. Entry is free, and there will be a host of activities for small as well as big children alike.

Get ready for some great entertainment which will happen over two stages. Te full programme is below:

Alex Kozenko
Alex will be on the Cleanaway Mainstage at 1.00 pm and he is a talented 17-year-old multi-instrumentalist from Brisbane.

He performs an amazing sound of Australian folk blues with the sounds of a kick drum, tambourine, didgeridoo, harmonica, cigar box guitar and acoustic rock guitar, as well as vocals!

Sophie Volk
Sophie is just 15 years of age and has a passion for all things music, particularly songwriting and musical theatre.

She has won the Homestead Youth Expo last year and will be attending the Junior Academy of Country music in Tamworth this July. Sophie will perform at 2.00 pm.

The Mirror Keys
The Mirror Keys are a funk-soul band, and Ginger Mendoza's vocals are classic Motown tones.

Although this group only formed last year, they have already released their first EP, "Money". They will perform on the main stage at 3.00 pm.

Geed Up
Geed Up Music is a group of three guys who share one love, R&B music. These talented musicians will be on stage at 4.00 pm

Taleena Peck
Taleena Peck is a talented singer-songwriter and musician and she will be performing on the Cleanaway Mainstage at 5.00 pm.

Taleena plays from folk to indie, pop and country pop, and taught herself guitar at 14 years of age.

Breeana Fielding Trio
This trio act will have you tapping your feet and up and dancing in no time. They play a mix of Rnb, pop and blues and are a world class act.

They will appear at 6.00 pm.

Fireworks Finale
Relax and watch this amazing huge Fireworks Finale, which brings to a close the 2018 Hills Carnivale and the month-long Hills Festival from 7.00 pm.

There will be a lot for children also at this Carnivale including rides, stilt walkers, and a musician roving through the park, as well as free workshops and activities.

And for the parents, you can wander through the dozens of lifestyle markets and multicultural food stalls.

Some of the events to entertain you will include:

Dunk a Professional
Anyone can have a go at trying to plunge the Ferny Hills Professionals Priority Real Estate Team into the icy water below!

A Dunk Tank is a thrilling game and a fun challenge for all ages. Volunteer "dunkees" take their spot on a collapsing seat right above the Dunk Tank that is filled with cold water.

Players will then aim a ball at the target, and if you hit the bulls-eye, the seat will collapse, thereby dunking the Professional into the water with a big splash for everyone to see!

You can find out more about this at this link.

Dump Truck Live Demonstration & Kids Photos
Cleanaway will be on location with their giant dump truck and here they will teach the children all about how it works. Check out the live demonstrations to see it in action! Children will also be able to climb inside the truck and have their picture taken by their parents.

You can check out this webpage to find out more, and this link will also direct you to more information about this fabulous event!

Make sure you keep this date free and bring the whole family!
