Picnic at Hillarys Boat Harbour

It is July, which means the middle of winter and while you feel the wind chill through your jumper and see storm clouds hover above, I can assure that it will not be long before spring has sprung us a visit. Of course the D-Day for spring is 1 September, which means you have ample time to prepare for a spring picnic celebration and have it in style.
Hillarys Boat Harbour offers some amazing picnic spots. For the more adventurous picnickers, you could bring some food to cook on the barbecues that are provided. However, for the more spontaneous picnickers, you could order a pizza with some drinks, and have a meal while watching the sun go down.
The beauty about having a picnic by
Hillarys Boat Harbour is that everything is there. There are toilets, a swim area, shops where you can order takeaways for your picnic, a theme park to work off any excess calorie consumption, a kids play park and an amazing view. I would say that the view is the highlight of the whole experience, and it is something I look forward to each year.
Hillarys Boat Harbour can be found at the bottom end of Hepburn Avenue or off west coast road; it all depends which direction you are coming from. There are a few picnic areas outside of the boat harbour, however the more sheltered areas can be found on the northern side of the
Hillarys Boat Harbour . There is ample parking; however weekends tend to be a little busier than weekdays.
If you do find that Hillarys Boat Harbour is just a little too busy for your liking, you could try some other
barbecue spots . They may not offer all of what Hillarys Boat Harbour offers you, however you will still have a great view. And I think, apart from spending quality time with your loved ones, the view is one of the greatest attractions for those on any budget!
