Local lovers of all things antique and vintage come together for this new event in Hillarys.

The will be a three day treat of antiques and jewellery, collectables, vintage clothing, home wares and much, much more.

For a gold coin donation, of which will be donated to the Royal Flying Doctor Service , locals for the very first time will gather together at my new favourite place, Hillarys Boat Harbour. A diverse group of local antique and vintage dealers will exhibit an array of traditional antique's and collectables from Retronium's mid-century modern furniture, through to home wares, retro furniture, and other funky household items.

And you won't be disappointed with the selection of vintage clothing, ranging from the 1920s to the 1980s, some of which is actually in fashion today. And if you're not too keen to get in to some vintage threads for day to day use, it's a great opportunity to pick up a few interesting items and organise a vintage dress up party.

Some of the antique stall holders that will be showcased are:

Anne and Terry Larter Antique Jewellery and China.

Anne and Terry have been collecting fine antique jewellery for years, and have a selection you just have to see. They'll also be bringing along some great China pieces that will delight the most avid collector.

Trevor Warren Collectable Bears.

These gorgeous collectable bears have their very own stand at the . Made from the finest plush and mohair fabrics, you'll be lost if you leave without a cuddle from one of these.

Whitford Church Pre-Loved clothing Shop.

This friendly team of volunteers would love for you to have a browse of their store, and enjoy a cup of coffee with them. You'll find all sorts of delightful items, real treasures you won't want to miss out on.

The Old Wares Trader.

Andreas Stein has been collecting and fixing old clocks and watches for over 25 years. Along with these magical time pieces, you'll find antique jewellery and bric-a-brac in which he also sells in his Maylands store. Have a look, and you might find some rare little jewels amongst his pieces.

Some of the vintage stall holders that will be showcased are:

Vintage Chic.

For exclusive, handpicked vintage clothing, vintage lovers all over will love the selection of items at this stall. See some of what's on offer at vintagechic.net.au

Miss Brown.

It is here that you will find ladies fashion made from beautiful vintage fabrics. Created by Kelly and her friend Madelaine, all vintage pieces are tailored by them right here in Australia.

Cherry Pies Cakes.

Cakes. Hmm. Not so vintage? Well actually, they are. All cakes from this store are vintage inspired, so you'll get old fashioned delights just how they should be, old fashioned.

Lady Maple Vintage.

One talented vintage searcher I am dying to see. Sourced from Canada, LA, New York and Australia, there's sure to be some wonderful vintage treasures here. Have a look at her blog here.

Devilsheep Store and Birdcage.

Here you'll find quality, unique vintage accessories at affordable prices. Just what we like to hear.

Apart from enjoying the best in vintage and antique items, locals will enjoy live musical performances each and every day by some talented West Australian performers.

Friday's live performance will be Minky G, Singer and Guitarist. Having studied at the WA Academy of Performing Arts, Minky G is a
talented Jazz Guitarist and will be playing near the main pavilion tent between 12pm and 3pm. You can check her out before the big day
at her webpage here.

Saturday's live performance is by 'accidental performer' Helen Shanahan. Originally, Helen wrote and played music in her bedroom for her ears only. It wasn't until her friends encouraged her to perform to crowds that she did so, and loved it. With more than 30 songs already penned, you'll find Helen playing the Perth pub and festival circuit. However, you can catch a glimpse when she performs Saturday at the Fair, or at her website here.

Sunday's live performance is by Singer / Songwriter Prita Grealy. You may have heard of Prita around the Freo Folk Scene for some years now, and recently opened for Simply Red and Marcia Hines at Sandleford Winery for an audience of 11,000 people. You can check her out online at her website.

Along with the Antique and Vintage stores you're sure to love, you won't have browsing energy without some good food. At the Fair, you'll find several yummy treats to give you that good burst of hunting fuel.

Like West Coast Kettle Corn. Now this stuff is good. It's popcorn that's popped in a 'special' way that makes it slightly sweet, and slightly salty, without actually being caramel popcorn. Which means it has less fat and sodium that your regular caramel popcorn. Which means we won't feel so guilty shovelling handfuls down our hungry throats. Hooray for that.

MMMM. Fudge-A-Licious. Enjoy handmade gourmet fudge in different flavours. And not your usual flavours. Try Double Choc and Lemon Merangue. Don't mind if I do.

Locals can also do it 'Antiques Roadshow' style and bring along a unique antique of vintage piece on the day to be valued by their experts.

So. Antique. Vintage. Food. Live Music. Beautiful location. Sounds like a splendid Spring day out to me. So lock in September 16, 17 and 18 from 9am to 5pm.

If it's anything like Perth Upmarket, it's sure to have itself a following in no time.
