Everyone needs to get up to some hijinks once in awhile
Last week we headed off to the Retro Beach Party at the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium for some Hijinks. I'd not had the best week so an evening filled with laughs and distractions was exactly what I needed.
Your ticket includes a cocktail (or wine or beer) so I hit the Skyy Vodka Mules on arrival, grabbed my bingo card and headed into the party...
There are games and activities as you make your way through the aquarium. We limbo-ed, made selfie props at the craft table, dressed in costumes for a photo booth shoot, and laughed a lot.
There is roving entertainment, a silent disco and food and bar stops along the way. We even took a lesson on the ukulele, and the whole 'class' played a song together at the end. Once you've made your way through the activities, there's a party for those that want to dance and linger.
It's a great night of frivolity, and the last event of the year is tabled for the 18th December. It is themed to that perfect 1980's summer, and dressing up is encouraged.
The full list of activities will be on the website soon, but the Blind Date will be running. You are matched with someone on arrival and have to stay together at least until the manatees (about 45 minutes or more, into the evening).
Bookings essential, so grab some friends and see out the year in '80's style.
