As a young adult who absolutely adores shopping, I couldn't help myself but check out the expansion at Highpoint Shopping Centre.
Highpoint renovated and extended its stores on levels two and three, launching 80 new specialty retailers ranging from Topshop all the way to more luxury brands, such as Alannah Hill, David Jones and Zara.
Highpoint also recently launched the Apple retail store, quite in competition with the already-settled Samsung store.
Highpoint has never been so ridiculously busy since last years Boxing Day sales. Highpoint is almost virtually a mimic of Chadstone Shopping Centre- Westside style. This has got to be the best thing that has opened up in 2013, especially for those of us who simply enjoy shopping. Now we won't have to drive an hour to Chadstone if we really wanted to check out the luxury end brands or see what we could get our hands on.
Along with the expansion of the new retailers, Highpoint also offers entertainment with Hoyts Cinemas and Playtime located on level one. Other than your usual take-away stores, Highpoint also has some great dining which caters for a range of people, such La Porchetta, Pancake Parlour and The Happy Days Diner.
