Retirement is no longer about walking off quietly into the sunset. People are retiring earlier and living longer and retirement provides the opportunity for you to live life to the full. It's a time to start ticking off that bucket list and to enjoy the kind of lifestyle you've worked so hard for.
Whether retirement is near or whether it's a few years off, it's never too early to start planning what you want your retirement to look like. Where will you live? What travel will you do? Where's the closest golf course, bowling green, cycling track, cafe, park? Do you want to live near family or as far away as possible?!
It can all be a bit daunting but the Highlands Health & Wellbeing Expo gives you the opportunity to see what retirement is all about and how to go about planning for it.
The Highlands Health & Wellbeing Expo is a free event being held at the Highlands Retirement Village in Craigieburn on Wednesday 29th July 2015 from 9.30am – 3.30pm. Morning tea and lunch will be available on the day and there will be over 30 exhibitors covering a wide range of lifestyle topics.
In addition, you'll have the chance to listen and talk to some great guest speakers from 10.00am – 3.00pm and get their expert advice on how to go about planning for your retirement.
