High Tea at Tedder and Woodroffe

If I lived in a perfect world, I would do this every day - it was that lovely. An awesome way to start the day, to end the day or have in the middle of the day. Basically, what I am saying is you should totally do this.



The high tea at Tedder and Woodroffe was just delightful and by getting it through a Scoopon deal made even more excellent because it was a great offer. Just $49 for high tea, for four people with treats and a bottle of bubbly.

Tedder and Woodroffe is a very cute cafe restaurant, located in the classy district of Tedder Avenue, just in main beach.  It offers high tea, but also it is a fully functioning licensed restaurant offering breakfast lunch and dinner, and from what I could spy on the other tables the food looked awesome. I shall be back!



Inside the decor is simple and crisp - it is set out beautifully with white chairs, flowers and statement decor which gives it a real summery light and breezy feel. I have been to other places for High Tea but this is by far my favourite, as it just has the edge in terms of luxury but without being too expensive.



You get a selection of yummy sandwiches, scones with jam and cream and some gorgeous home made cakes and pastries.  It was just the right amount of food and everything was delicious, fresh and well presented, plus you get a coffee or tea of your choice. I had a my usual mocha which was fab. 

The bubbly was a good bottle too, and was just a lovely indulgence and a real treat for me and my friends.









Tedder Avenue is one of my favourite places on the Gold Coast - it has a real upmarket feel and the shops and bars and restaurant on offer have a chic city vibe, despite it being just metres from the beach.

It's easily accessible by public transport too with many bus routes stopping at the top of Tedder Avenue, on their way along the Gold Coast Highway.



An absolute must on the Gold Coast - treat yourself or someone special for a birthday, mothers day or just because you deserve it.

Oh and a little tip, if using a voucher, book as early as possible to secure the special date and time you want.  They get pretty busy and booked up fast, especially at the weekend.
