High teas are a very special afternoon activity. Something to do with family and friends, where you can spend a few special hours indulging in great company with spectacular treats that very often test the senses of smell, sight and taste.

There are many high tea options around Adelaide with high tea at the Stamford Plaza , 150 North Terrace, Adelaide being amongst the very best. Perfect for an afternoon out with the girls, a special birthday, hen's party, baby shower, anniversary or just to treat mum, this high tea enables you to sit back and overwhelm your senses.



There are two high tea options, the Traditional Sir Stamford High Tea or the Stamford Belgian Chocolate High Tea.

The Traditional Sir Stamford High Tea is a selection of finger sandwiches such cucumber, Barossa Valley pastrami and mustard pickle and smoked salmon, plain and fruit scones with clotted cream, white chocolate and tonka bean meringue tart, mango and coconut slice, citrus gateau, assorted macaroons, curry puffs, Adelaide Hills chicken and leek tart and mini truffled porcini mushroom vol au vent. All served with a glass of Hentley Farm Blanc de Noir.



The Stamford Belgian Chocolate High Tea is nothing short of indulgent. Served with a chocolate cocktail your selection of finger sandwiches and hot and savoury options is accompanied by a selection of chocolate-themed sweet treats, featuring Veliche chocolate which not only tastes great, its cocoa ingredients are sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. Crystal Room Sunday High Tea at the Stamford Plaza is available every Sunday from 2 pm to 4 pm or indulge in the Cascades Lounge Monday to Saturday at 3 pm, 3.15 pm or 3.30 pm to 5 pm. The Sunday Traditional Sir Stamford High Tea is $41.81 adults and $27.19 children and the Stamford Belgian Chocolate High Tea is $57.47 adults and $27.19 children.



Monday to Saturday the Traditional Sir Stamford High Tea is $39 adults and $25 children 12 years and under and the Stamford Belgian Chocolate High Tea is $54 adults and $25 children.

You can also order your high tea as a take away! Whether you are wanting to picnic in one of Adelaide's fantastic parks or have another special location, you can order high tea online. This fantastic take away high tea comes on a convenient portable three-tiered stand and includes a Chef's selection of sweet treats, perfect just for two. Included are white chocolate and tonka bean meringue tart, mango and coconut slice, citrus gateaux, assorted macarons, Japanese green tea cheesecake and kiwi fruit, white chocolate biscuit role, opera slice and mini cherry torte. Special dietary needs are welcomed, but advise when ordering . Each stand is perfect for 2 and costs just $42.50.
