The Rochelle Adonis studio is something to behold. Chandeliers, antique cups and spoons as well as a large feature wall displaying a myriad of prints both large and small add to the ambiance of the studio. Opposite the Northbridge Hotel, the studio is well placed, on a relatively quiet peaceful street, an excellent place to sit in the window and watch the passersby.
The window seats three and is a perfect position to indulge in Rochelle's signature chocolate cake and one of the studio's amazing teas. Even if you don't drink tea, I recommend the Seventh Duchess tea for their exquisite taste and aroma. Choose from the likes of Indian Chai and French Earl Grey. The milk is presented in a small glass bottles, it is the little details that Rochelle Adonis attends to that really makes her space unique.
The day I went to Rochelle Adonis's was a busy Friday. The two long benches which seat 12 and where most of the High Teas are conducted were practically full with ladies sipping on tea and indulging in decadent morsels from the cake cabinet. The service was immaculate, friendly and efficient and the tea and cake to die for. All in all a wonderful dining experience. A must do, even if its just for cake and coffee you won't be disappointed.
