High Tea at Peninsula Tea Gardens

If you haven't had the opportunity to experience a high tea yet, my advice would be to try the Peninsula Tea Gardens in Maylands.



The high tea menu ($38 pp) offers luscious petit fours, scones, glittering cupcakes and soft macarons.



It is quite the treat. With lovely seating arrangements laid out in front of the Swan River, you can't help but soak up the relaxing nature of the environment. The menu provides some background to High Tea too.


The food comes promptly and is displayed beautifully in a three-tiered vintage rack. You have a large choice of teas on offer to taste. I chose the chai tea which was a great blend was well matched with the scones.

You are also permitted to bring your own bubbly with no corkage charged. We took advantage of this at the weekend and added up Prosecco to our High Tea Treat.
