The work of local Bulimba artists will be up for sale this Sunday 17 August at Bulimba State School's Vintage High Tea and Art Auction.

Taking place in the former urban industrial space Bulimba Village , the afternoon's vintage feel will be created using authentic recycled and re-purposed timber furniture as well as an amazing collection of vintage tea sets.

The afternoon of cakes, mini-quiches, music, champagne and art also features emerging Brisbane artists and covers a wide range of artistic styles from traditional oil landscapes and delicate still life watercolours through to abstract work in mixed media and acryclic. All artwork will be for sale, with a special selection being auctioned during the afternoon.

Tickets for the Afternoon Tea are $50 and include a glass of sparkling wine, tea-time treats by local bakery favourite, French Twist, as well as some exclusive goodies produced by the junior chefs from Bulimba State School's Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program.

The High Tea will be held from 2pm – 5pm at Bulimba Village, Corio Street, Bulimba. Tickets are available now .
