His Majesty's Theatre has once again organised a series of elegant and traditional high tea events known as High Tea at the Maj. These popular, sumptuous high teas will be held on Saturday 3rd May and Saturday 23rd August, 2014, between 3pm and 5pm.



The High Tea at the Maj menu will include a selection of delicious gourmet sweet and savoury delights, plus a choice of loose leaf teas or freshly brewed coffee. Dine in style - tables are elegantly laid with white linen and white tea services, and the food is beautifully presented on two-tiered stands.

The high tea menu is full of delicacies such as Belgian Chocolate and Hazelnut Cake, Raspberry Curd Meringue Tart, Fresh Macaroons, Ham and Olive Tapenade in a Semi-Dried Tomato Finger Sandwich, Tasmanian Smoked Salmon and Baby Spinach Soufflé Roulade with Basil Lemon Pesto and more.

These high tea events are very popular and places fill up fast so bookings are essential. Tickets for the High Tea at The Maj events will cost $40.00 per person, or $49.00 per person for a Sparking High Tea, which includes a glass of Veuve Moisans Champagne.

His Majesty's Theatre is a lovely venue, full of history and opulence, and the perfect setting for afternoon tea - elegant Edwardian architecture, ornate gold and cream décor, plush red carpets and beautiful pressed ceiling.
