Room with Roses is one of my favourite cafes in the Brisbane CBD and its High Tea is to die for. And it's not just me who thinks so: it was named as one of the top five places to take High Tea by Vogue Living (no less). My regular readers will know that I love High Tea – the elegance of the experience, the delicious little delicacies and definitely dressing up in a dress to dine out. I know that you are going to love this special High Tea with guest speaker Hetty Johnston.

You are invited to partake of a scrumptious High Tea, displayed in a tempting array with a glass of bubbly on Wednesday 18th April from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Room with Roses is located upstairs in the glorious Brisbane Arcade at 117 Adelaide Street in Brisbane City. The cost is a very reasonable $55 per person.

The yummy High Tea AND the bubbles AND the lovely location AND Hetty are enough to entice you but in addition, you will be raising much-needed funds to go to "Bravehearts", Australia's leading child protection organisation. So, join in and support their commitment to protect children through education and empowerment. Also, Room with Roses is donating raffle prizes to be drawn on the day. Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) is the sponsor for this event and is proud to donate the proceeds from all tickets and raffle sales to "Bravehearts".

**
Who is Hetty Johnston AM?**
Hetty is the founder and chairperson of "Bravehearts" and a lobbyist. Through her dedication and determination, she has succeeded throughout her career. Now she is applying her passionate approach to highlight the importance of child protection, to media, families, schools and the general community both nationally and internationally. You will come away inspired by Hetty.

Tip: If you are new to High Tea, just remember to eat from the lowest level of the tired cake-stand (usually sandwiches and/or hot nibblies) and work your way up to scones and cakes, then the little treasures on top.
