Hesperia Presidente is a 4-star hotel in Barcelona and is part of the
NH Hotels group. The hotel is on Avinguda Diagonal in an area often classified as the business district. This in affect means that the area is lively, with high street shops and a wide variety of restaurants on the same road.
Barcelona Airport is a 25 minute taxi journey from this hotel, the fare was €30 one way.* On the way back to the airport the hotel staff kindly organised a taxi for us and helped us with our luggage. Hotel Room
Just like the rest of Barcelona this hotel has a very modern feel to it and you can see this from the outside and as you walk in the reception area. Both the reception and housekeeping staff are very friendly at the hotel.

website. Different types of breakfast if also available and can be chosen at the time of booking. The rooms include a safe, Wi-Fi internet access**, air conditioning, TV and minibar. The rooms are very spacious and have a desk and chair, making it user friendly for guests on business trips. There are sofas in the room making the room a perfect place to relax.

One great thing about this hotel is the lighting in the rooms created by the large windows. The view from my room was of the street, the sound proof windows and curtains significantly reduce any noise. The whole surrounding area in general is very clean and the trees make it a nice view. For the evening there is plenty of lighting and lots of mirrors in the room, which is perfect for getting ready to go out.

The bathroom layout is particularly interesting; the toilet, shower and wash basin area are all separate in an open floor plan style. There are complementary toiletries, a hair dryer and more mirrors near this section. The shower is very high tech and has different settings including a back water massage option, which feels great after a long day of exploring Barcelona in the summer.

The hotel has a Fitness Area with gym equipment for guests who like to stay on top of their health routine. The Solarium on the 9th floor is a terrace area from which you have access to a panoramic view of the city and also gives you the opportunity to just relax and sunbathe. Hesperia Presidente Hotel offers you the luxurious feel of a hotel whilst providing you with everything so that you feel at home. I particularly enjoyed my stay here and the hotel complements the city very nicely.
