Led by Dr Denis Binnion AM and Trevor Feder, the
River, Road & Rail Trail heritage weekend tour will take you on a cruise along our longest navigable river as well as a train ride along our oldest steel-railed railway on Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th of August 2022.

River Murray
The three-hour cruise will depart from Murray Bridge and head to Wellington. Lunch will be served onboard. You will then visit the township of Karoonda and its vibrant silo art before spending the night at Bridgeport Hotel.

After breakfast the next day, you will travel to historic Wellington, the old lake port of Milang and Goolwa. Here the Cockle Train awaits you for a 30-minute ride to Victor Harbor.

The tour costs $488 per person. If you're interested, bookings can be made online via the
WEA website. Please meet at WEA Centre, 223 Angas Street in the city, for a 9am departure on Saturday. You will arrive back at the centre at approximately 5:45pm on Sunday.
