Want to do something a little different on a Sunday? Why not go for a drive to the Daylesford Market and ride the heritage tourist train.



The train leaves Daylesford Market at 09.45, 11.00 in the morning, and 12.15, 1.45, and 3.00 in the afternoon.



The train leaves Daylesford and takes you through the picturesque forest to a little place called Musk, then onto Ballarto. There you can learn a little bit of history of these places. You can also drive there and catch the train to Daylesford Market.

Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $13 for children or $35 for a family. This is for a one hour round trip from Daylesford to Ballarto.

Trains may not operate on extreme weather days, check the website for updates.
