Heritage SnAps Winner People's Choice Award by Dale Turner
People in Adelaide love their heritage buildings - sometimes without even realising that they are heritage places. Many of the top bars in Adelaide are located in heritage buildings: just look at the best bars on Peel Street which are old and full of character. Similarly, Adelaide restaurants in historic buildings are well patronised: examples like the Electra House Hotel and Jamie's Italian Adelaide spring to mind. They are beautiful places to eat at.
Photographers too are drawn to heritage places. The Woolsheds at Port Adelaide.

When Heritage South Australia announced their Heritage
SnAps competition, shutterbugs around South Australia started clicking their cameras. While many entrants were just casual photographers, the standard of entries was high.
Before the judges awarded prizes, everyone had a chance to nominate their own picks for the People's Choice competition. The winning photographs were of a stunning standard, giving an insight to heritage places around South Australia.
