One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating

[ADVERT] Enjoy a day in the Greater Dandenong with a leisurely walk through flourishing gardens and historic buildings of Heritage Hill.

A day with chilled tunes coming from the rose garden, where you can lay back and relax under the summer's sun and set your kids free with an art workshop.

St James Anglican Church

For the more active and not so laid back, head towards the Suitcase Rummage market and find yourself a great Sunday deal or head on the tour of 'Laurel Lodge', built in 1869, and view some enchanting vintage fashions and then rest those feet with some Devonshire tea.

The historical Benga house has become the world of artistry with it becoming an art studio. Walk the hallways and investigate the next Van Gogh or Salvador Dali.

A day to enjoy with the family, whether it is to be a graceful chilled afternoon or to be educated in the history of Heritage Hill and the elegance that it brings.

Open day is on Sunday February 3rd, 12 til 4pm. Guided tours of Laurel Lodge require bookings (9793 4511).
