Community day at the grand prix: "General Admission to Community Day is FREE, giving the community the chance to soak up all of the excitement of this iconic event. This is a chance to celebrate the legacy of Australian talent in motorsport culminating in the appointment of Daniel Ricciardo to Red Bull

Fans will also have the opportunity to give back to those in need by donating to The Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal - the Official Charity of the 2014 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix." Book here. (Children 12 years old and under can access all General Admission areas for free, all days, provided they are accompanied by a paying adult ticket holder. For children 12 years old and under, free tickets are only available at the gate.)
The first Australian Grand Prix was held at Albert Park on 21 November 1953. "To celebrate the heritage of motor racing in the park, the Australian Grand Prix Corporation announced that FREE entry will be given to all General Admission patrons on Thursday 14 March 2013 [and continued in 2014]." As a result, day one of the Formula 1™ Australian Grand Prix has been renamed 'Heritage Day' for the occasion.

The whole family will be entertained in "Kids Corner," with the Porsche Kids Driving School, Disney activities including a life-sized Lightning McQueen Car, and face painting.
