Crafty Sunday in St Ives
The Heritage Craft Fair in St Ives is a wonderful way to spend the first Sunday of each month shopping for unique items.
Heritage Craft Fair, St Ives
450 Mona Vale , St Ives

The name of the markets, Heritage Craft Fair, makes it sound a little 'old school' with teapot cosies, lace doilies and nanna's apple pie on sale but it is far from that. The vast space is full of stalls displaying a beautiful array of hand crafted wares made with love and flair.

Scented cedar wood chopping boards, brightly coloured chalk boards for kids to draw on, homemade olive oils and delicate cupcakes give you just a small idea of what you will find when you head north one hour from Sydney's CBD.

Unique is a good word to describe these markets. Winding your way up and down the grassy alley ways passing stalls, you will find things you have never seen before. A tooth fairy pillow, handmade biscuits for your loveable pet, intricately crocheted beads looped into the brightest pieces of jewellery looking like balls of candy and sterling silver spiral ceiling decorations.

No market is complete without the obligatory coffee van, gozleme stall and sweet poffertjes to enjoy whilst you relax under a large gumtree and listen to live music. Very Australian setting for a beautiful Sunday morning.

This is the place to find a wonderfully different gift for that person in your life who has everything.
