Henry on George, on the corner of George Street and Henry Street, Moonta, offers not only the best coffee in Moonta, but also a variety of freshly made light meals, hot and cold drinks, and tempting treats! Henry on George is open from 8am to 5pm every day, closed only on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Good Friday. Henry on George is very busy on long weekends and during holidays. Locals keep the cafe busy all week, all year round. Dining is available both indoors and alfresco.
Cafe Henry on George, 56b George Street Moonta, occupies the converted 1800s Roach and Son butchers shop. Original features remain, including a large hook in the ceiling, and large windows on two sides that open up - to let in a summer breeze, these days, but in the original butchers shop this was the way meat was delivered!

Henry on George, enjoys a prominent location in the heart of Moonta, arguably at the most interesting intersection on George Street. Across George Street is the Moonta Gallery of the Arts where you should check out the latest exhibition, Statewide Cinema where you can catch a movie, and Queens Square where you can take your coffee and let the kids run.
Russell and Matthew, the busy managers of Henry on George, are busy as we speak working at preparing High Tea Rooms in the adjacent house. Two front rooms with original fireplaces are being converted for the purpose. Disability access and bathroom are also in the planning. The aim is to have the Tea Rooms open in time for the Kernewek Lowender 19th - 21st May 2017. The High Tea rooms can be booked for groups and special occasions. Find Henry on George on Facebook. On Henry Street, behind Henry on George, is Henry's B&B, for convenient, comfy accommodation.
